Does anyone know how I can reinstall the drivers as whenever I plug the BT dongle in, the "Found New Hardware wizard" pops up and asks to install new software for the "Logitech BT Mini-Receiver DFU". It can't find the drivers anywhere even if I have the Logitech Set Point CD in the drive. I've tried uninstalling Set Point and the Widcomm software and re-installed various versions of Set Point, none of which seem to make any difference. Any help greatly appreciated, as I can't use my Di Novo Media Laser set at the moment.
Is this a new occurrence? Has that dongle receiver worked fine until just recently?
If I were you, I would try plugging in the dongle on another system and attempt to connect the mouse and keyboard with no Logitech software or Widcomm installed at all. The receiver should detect and work in native windows drivers without a hardware wizard coming up.
If it is doing this on another system as well, then I suggest calling the live support team, so it can be determined if the receiver itself has a problem.

Yes the dongle was working fine using the XP drivers. The problem started when I installed set point from the CD, then it tried to update the version of set point and froze. Eventually I had to restart my pc and since then the keyboard and mouse haven't worked. I read in one of the Logitech help documents that during the install of set point it updates the firmware on the receiver, and I wonder if when it froze it has messed up the firmware and that is why it doesn't recognise the dongle anymore. I've tried the dongle in another machine without any Logitech software/ set point, and the Hardware wizard pops up again. This is what makes me think it is the firmware and the dongle rather than the set point installation, and the reason that the dongle doesn't get updated during any re-installation of set point. Is there anyway that I can repair/ reinstall the firmware on the dongle?
Hi I have the same problem.. and I already did everything you said in this forum, but the USB dongle still doesn't work.. I agree that the firmware in my USB dongle might have changed and it's corrupted now, that's the cause of the problem.. If that's the case. I think I'm going to need a new one.. How I can get a new one?
