Hello all,

I use an MX5000 desktop in my office. Our email runs off of an Exchange server, which means I've no choice but to use outlook. I have the latest version of SetPoint installed and have configured it to look for MS Outlook as my email program. I use AIM 6.5 for instant messaging. However, the keyboard's LCD does not show an alert when I get a new email or IM, nor does it play the sound [as I had ticked the box for notification].

Any suggestions?

I have just bought a MX5000 and have exactly the same problem.

the keyboard and mouse both seem to be working fine so far, and i have had none of the other problems, that people are reporting.

i have programmed all the keys etc perfectly.

but using Outlook 2003 sp2 on Windows XP Professional with SP2, i get no email notification icon or beeps on the keyboard.

we also use an Exchange server for the email.

Its not a huge problem, but it would be nice at times to be able to get the notification working.

If anyone has any ideas on what the problem might be, or how to fix it, i would be grateful for your advice?

Lotus Notes is not supported but OL 2003 is for the email notification.

What is the SetPoint Version?  4.24 or 4.40?

Bump for resolution. I'm having the same problem, no IM or email notifications. I am using AIM 5.9 and setpoint 4.40.
