Given the above circumstances, I now get the keyboard alerts when I receive an email ---only when I manually hit send/receive.--- A step in the right direction, but still unacceptable. Alerts must work when an email is pushed to me, as well as with IMs.

mine is the same, even with older versions of the software.

if i press the Send/Receive button and happen to time it right, and it receives a message, then i will get an alert.

but otherwise there is nothing.

so it seems the latest software update has done nothing to help this particular issue.

There will be some changes in next SetPoint release on the timing when getting new mails.

I am using :

Thunderbird
XP 32bit SP2
Set Point 4.6.122

The email notifiction icon on the lcd is staying on constantly and the Inbox display says I have 99 new emails. However I don't appear to have any new emails. When I do get a new email that count does not change. The only settings I can find in setpoint set which application launches with the email/F7 button. I can not find any settings for the lcd display email notification other than play sound Yes/No. I'm actually a little disappointed in the lack of configuration options.

I see you are anticipating a new Set Point release. Hopefully that will resolve this as well.

My mx5500 plays the sound, but the lcd has displayed 54 new emails since the day I connected this keyboard to my system. Setpoint help tells me to click on the email/mesenger icon in keyboard set up. The version of setpoint that came with the keyboard doesn't have an email/mesenger icon and nor does V:4.6. I am disapointed that i spent big money on an upmarket keyboard to find it doesn't function as marketed. I hope a new version of setpoint is made available that keeps up with the propduct it supports.
