Re: MX5000 num lock

Have you tried pressing the calculator button on the upper right? It's between the F/Mode Key and the Sleep Key, also directly above the area between the / and * keys on the numpad.

Re: MX5000 num lock

Yes, I've tried that.  All it does is turn my numeric keypad into a calculater on the small lcd screen on the keyboard itself.  The numbers do not transmit to my computer.  This is really driving me nuts as I use this keyboard for accounting and I need to have a numeric keypad!!!

Re: MX5000 num lock

That's weird, and I feel your pain, I'm also an accountant and I use this keyboard at work.

Unfortunately, I don't think you're going to get anything other than the standard logitech response of either "It's working as intended", "Upgrade setpoint", or "whatever, go to hell"

Re: MX5000 num lock

Let me do the support guy's job...:smileysurprised:
The MX 5000 doesn't have the NUM lock key feature. The only way to enable it is through the On Screen Keyboard (osk). To launch 'osk', I would recommend the following steps below :-
1. Click Start
2. Go to 'run'
3. In the run command, type 'osk'.
4. After that you will see an on screen keyboard on the monitor.
 THEN

5. Click the NUM Lock Key on the on screen keyboard then "X" out and this should get your keypad to work.
