Keyboards - Bluetooth

Hi! I have the same issues here. My diNovo mini is loosing the connection to the dongle if the pc is in standby mode. Unfortunately the solution with another USB Bluetooth dongle does not work for me. I tried it with an Anycom USB250 Bluetooth stick.

Same problem here. I've tested the DiNovo Mini keyboard with two computers.
One XP machine with a 3rd party Bluetooth dongle (MSI Starkey).
No disconnect issues with that machine.

Second machine runs Vista Premium and uses the Logitech supplied Bluetooth dongle. The keyboard
disconnects after some time of inactivity. Usually if the PC has been in Sleep mode for an
extended period of time (within an hour or so of putting the machine to sleep the keyboard still
works). Only removing and re-inserting the battery makes it re-connect again.

This would confirm the observation by another poster that the issue is with the Logitech
BT dongle, not the keyboard.

I'm glad to see people have isolated the problem down to the dongle, well it appears they have at least.  I just received a replacement diNovo to rule out a bad one and the problem still exist, so I guess at this point, a new Blue Tooth Dongle is required to make this thing work.  What make/model of BT dongle has worked and where would be the best place to get one, because I highly doubt that Logitech will make this right.  I have sent them the link to this forum thread several times, but they have yet to mention if they are looking at it or making an effort to investigate.  Please post information on successful/compatible dongles.

can someobody let me know how they resolved this issue of dinovo mini losing synch with pc if in suspend mode over a long period of time.

I am experiencing this issue and only able to get it back on is by taking the battery out and putting it back in.

Thanks for the information.  We have reported this problem and we are working on a solution.

The current workaround is to remove the battery and reconnect as many users have done.

I will post results / resolutions here when it is done.

Hallelujah!  Finally we have mangaged to get the attention of someone at Logitech.  Thank you Woody for your help.  I started this thread when the diNovo first came out and have consequently returned it for another one thinking I had a bad key board.  So, after a few months and going back and forth with Logitech Tech Support most of us have gotten know where.  The only think that looked promising was the use of a third party USB BlueTooth Dongle maited to the diNovo Mini, but I have even read of that not working for a particular individual. 

So, we greatly appreciate you weighing in on this and raising the status of this problem.

Thanks. I am also experiencing the same problem and am anxiously looking forward to the response. It took me so long to convince my wife that the home theater pc would be as easy as to use as the cable box, and now I'm losing all credibility.
