Hi all,
 
The new release SetPoint 4.24 is available for download.

New features summary:

1. Improved SetPoint Installer for missing keyboard or mouse tab issues.
2. Faster SetPoint installation time.
3. Bluetooth Connection Assistant (BCA) for troubleshooting/resolving Bluetooth connection issues.
4. Logitech Bluetooth receiver firmware version 77 for MX5000 and diNovo Media Laser Desktop.

We are looking to improve our customer's experience with our products.  Please post any feedback you have on SetPoint 4.24. 

Note:

-SetPoint 4.24 for Windows XP downloads may need an extra day or two to "push" to all web servers.

With my MX-1000 the settings page shows an undescriptive ghost image of a generic mouse rather than the appropriate informative MX-1000 image that I've seen before. For a customer new to the mouse that could be quite disorienting.

Using Vista(32) with latest updates. Mouse identified in Device Manager as Logitech HID-compliant Cordless Mouse.

SetPoint should prompt you to let it check for an "Update" to download and install the button images. If that didn't work for some reason, you can get the download yourself from my wiki.

Ahhh...Finally a version of setpoint that works with Vista! Downloaded, installed without a hitch. Now my Dinovo Media Laser works as it was supposed to! Thanks Logitech for not giving up!!!

Volume control still hasn't been fixed for me. I have a S510 Keyboard + Mouse and Vista.

SetPoint 4.24 is listed under the Windows Vista Software Download page and its not listed for Windows XP, so does that mean that this version is for Vista only?

Cruise is VERY slow on the fastest setting available for my MX1000 with Vista x64.

I'm yet to experience the random key issue with my MX3000.

I just registered to let you know that this version works for my diNovo Media Desktop and Wndows Vista. My main problem that Outlook 2007 process was not closed after quitting the application has been solved.

But I find it strange that this version is not offered on the download page by default for the Media Desktop. It still says 3.3BT. So I changed to the diNovo Media Desktop Laser and then I was able to download the software.

I installed 4.24 over an existing installation of 3.3.

Is this not supposed to work for the old Media Desktop and MX900 mouse?

I can connect my HTC Touch PDA to my computer and sync over bluetooth without problems.

The Problem remains exactly the same for me. I've got to edit the .inf files and delete the WDFCoinstaller section, or Setpoint will be installed WITHOUT updating the driver within the device manager.
