Hey Guys,
I own a Pro 2000 wireless keyboard, which was working fine until just recently.
------------The Problem:
All of the A-Z keys, number keys, and others (home, delete, ctrl, windows key) don't work.
The strange thing is that all the "special" buttons work -- like the volume control, pause and play keys, home key (launches browser) etc.
------------I have done the following:
1. Put the keyboard on multiple machines (Windows7), including a Windows XP Professional machine.
2. Held down the reset button for 10 seconds
3. Checked / changed the batteries
4. Installed the latest setpoint
Note:
1. I own another Pro 2000 keyboard, which is still working fine.
2. I'm still in warrenty
Is there anybody else that has had / fixed this problem? As I said, I DO own another keyboard (exact model) which is working fine.
Thanks!
David

My experience is that Logitech provides an excellent warranty service.
File an official support query – I used the "Contact Us" link to send an email – and with luck it will arrive in the right place. (Mine original ended up in the wrong part of the world.)
I received a prepaid label, returned the keyboard and within less than a week a new one arrived.
I am in the UK. It may be different where you are. You don't say.

Hello PieTown,
Based on your description this sounds like the keyboard has lost it's encryption. Please try pressing the left side CTRL+ALT+F12 and follow the on screen instructions.

Hello Cintech,
That didn't seem to do anything....
Here's what I did:
1. Plugged in the Pro 2000 Keyboard that is having the problem
2. Pressed the left sided CTRL+ALT+F12
I also attempted to do it on my wired keyboard, and also my Pro 2000 keyboard that -is- working -- nothing happened...o.O.
Do you have any other suggestions? If not, I suppose I can proceed with the warrenty route.
Thank you again Cintech, and also Michael for taking the time to reply (:

Hello PieTown,
CTRL+ALT+F12 only works on keyboards equipped with SecureConnect technology.
If you do not have SetPoint installed or running the computer the following will disable your keyboard's encryption.
-
Press Ctrl-Alt-F12 on the keyboard. (left Ctrl+Alt)
-
Press the CONNECT button on the receiver.
-
Press the CONNECT button on the keyboard.
-
Press the ESC key on the keyboard.
If the issue persists, please contact Logitech Customer Care for your region.
