I have found a solution for this problem. This will not make sense why it works but it just does.
You need to install Microsoft Intellitype. This is the software for Microsoft Keyboards.
32 bit

64 bit
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3086
I was having the media button issues with my K750 and zune software, as well as the calculator focus issues. I installed the Intellitype software on my system, and it fixed all the issues.
I'm not a programmer so I have no idea how or why this fixed the problems, but it does.
So select the download for your system. I know the Intellitype software is an older verson, but I can confirm that this solution works on both 32 and 64 bit versons. When prompted what microsoft keyboard you have, I selected the mulitmedia keyboard. I don't know if selecting a different keyboard will make a difference.
Once installed all your media keys should function correctly. I hope this helps other frustrated logitech keyboard owners.
