Alphabet on Keys Rubbed Off

Having Problem With Alphabet on Keys Rubbing Off. I have had the MX3200 Keyboard for about a year, and already the a,s,d,e,c,v,n, r, e m,  keys have all rubbed off, love the keyboard, but this problem must be fixed, especially for those who type everyday. I will not spend $79-$99 every year for a new keyboard when they should design something where the alphabet does not rub off.

Is this covered under a warranty, or is there a way to get new keys to replace these? (without buying a new keyboard)

Re: Alphabet on Keys Rubbed Off

This has been a perennial issue with Logitech keyboards. (And some fingers!)

I went through keyboards annually until I discovered the clear-varnish trick. It works.

But now I have found a better solution. Buy a K800 illuminated keyboard. The technology is very different. Etched keys with a backlight.

My first keyboard lasted a year, with no signs of key wear. It had to go back for a warranty replacement because the "Enter" key broke.

The K800 is also a nice keyboard.
