Re: BEWARE: Logitech Illuminated Keyboard

There's another one that seems to go under the radar completely, right control, try pressing that when playing a video game, it just doesn't work!!!! Glad I'm a lefty though, and my old razer keyboard can do all those. If this keyboard can't do it, let razer do it for you.

Re: BEWARE: Logitech Illuminated Keyboard

Got this in the mail yesterday, I really want to love this keyboard, but due to this issue I can not.

I love flat laptop-like keys so it really bothers me that I can't use this one.

I find it kind of funny that my Dell Laptop can handle this and this keyboard can not.

also I have a really old keyboard from logitech, where I can press shift+w+space with no problem.

I have never had any issue with this up until this keyboard, and I've been using a lot of different keyboards over the years.

it's actually impossible to play half-life with this keyboard, as you need to use the long jump, good thinking logitech.

at first I thought it was a bug in the game I was playing but as it turns out logitech has blocked these keys from being presses at the same time.

too bad this, because my old keyboard is also defective but shift+w+space still works. funny that.

posting warnings on the website I got it from now.

Re: BEWARE: Logitech Illuminated Keyboard

Sorry about the last post. Apparently, the Logitech Forum text box does not play well with IE9. Had to write this under FireFox.

Question was: Can someone verify whether the K800 Wireless Illuminated Keyboard has the same problem or not?

Re: BEWARE: Logitech Illuminated Keyboard

As I already said, my particular wireless keyboard doesn't exhibit this problem.

Re: BEWARE: Logitech Illuminated Keyboard

Another problem I am experiencing in APB (only/so far) is that (some of wasd) keys stick for some reason, but only when driving cars, and this does not happen with my Razer keyboard.

The wireless illuminated keyboard does not have this problem.  After all of the issues with the standard illuminated keyboard, Logitech decided to hire a better product manager to develop out the wireless version - thus, no issues with the blocking.

Unfortunately, the wireless version of the keyboard does have a few other issues in terms of features, namely, that the illumination levels always default back to their lowest level after about 4 hours of inactivity.

Re: BEWARE: Logitech Illuminated Keyboard

I'm experiencing yet another issue, my keyboard does not work in BIOS or during windows boot (press enter to continue stuff when system crashes.)

this keyboard has so many flaws that it seriously should have been recalled.

Re: BEWARE: Logitech Illuminated Keyboard

I think it would be more appropriate if the box bore a large red label: "WARNING: W + Shift + Space does NOT work!"

Re: BEWARE: Logitech Illuminated Keyboard

The BIOS issue is most likely not with this keyboard. I have a Gigabyte motherboard that will often do this with ANY USB keyboard when I underclock / overclock it.
