The main difference could be that the K810 is not supported on Mac computers and the K811 is only supported on iPads and Mac computers.
The K811 was designed to be used with Mac OS 10.6.8+, iOS 4.0+ devices so its support is limited to this OS. While the K810 with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows RT, iOS 4.0+ and Android 3.0+.
If you wish to compare the specifications for thes

Since the K810 is the one that supported on Android and the K811 on Mac OS, I'm afraid that you wouldn't be able to switch between these two kind of devices with the same keyboard.
I really hope you find this information useful mpugach, best regards.

Officially, they don't support it, but I can switch my K810 between OS X 10.8, Windows 8 & Android just fine. Just not the "Mac" keyboard layout that Apple make, but it works pretty much the same.

Hi, just read your feed on using the K810 on your Mac OS X 10.8.x . I have just bought the K810 to use it on my Windows 7 desktop, MacBook Air (Mac OS X 10.8.3) and either my iPad or Galaxy Note II.
You had mentioned that K810 does not 'officially' support MAC, but you are using it on your Mac. Would you kindly provide a tip so that I could pair my K810 with my MacBook?
Would really appreciate your help.

The manuals for these two are almost identical. Both describe themselves as "Illuminated", which is the same as backlit.
The K810 is for Windows, Android and Macs – look at Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810 - Logitech.
The K811 is for Macs – Wireless Backlit Keyboard for Mac, iPad, iPhone + Apple TV - Logitech.
The K811 is also "Easy-Switch".

I have the K810 and it's a wonderful keyboard - much, much better than the Apple wireless keyboard.
I think the feedback that this keyboard "doesn't work on OS X" must be out of date.
I'm using it right now to type on a Mac mini running Snow Leopard. No problems at all.
Also works great on my iPad mini and Apple TV.

I own an iPhone and a Galaxy Tab tablet.
I am aware that it wouldn't be officially supported, but could anyone please comment whether I should pick a K811 or a K810 if I want to switch between the two? Color doesn't matter for me, but in my country I can find the K811 for about $20 cheaper.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
