We just connected the EX100 and it works great while the computer is "awake". Once computer goes into sleep mode, both mouse and keyboard are unresponsive and won't "wake up" the computer. Pressing the "connect" button on the USB receiver, mouse and keyboard have no effect. Are there typical system settings (HP desktop) to make sure the USB ports dont' go to sleep as well (stay active)? Options on the mouse/keyboard device settings to allow them to wake the computer up? This isn't an issue with the wired (non-USB) mouse and keyboard.

I too am looking for an answer to this.
Brand spanking new keyboard, computer, Windows 7 64bit. Installed only today, new batteries.
Computer went to sleep and could not get it to respond to either keyboard or mouse.
