Was considering giving the Logitech Wave a go -- love the M570 trackball -- but given the inability to customize the buttons natively is a deal-killer. Say what you want about Microsoft, but the software for my MS Natural 4000 works fine under Lion.

I saw there were still posts into this year on the question and I've spent 4 hours trying to get mine to work after finally taking the desciion that if mobile me was discontinued from June, I may as well take the pain now and go to Lion
So, here is what worked.
UNINSTALL logitech - everything.
Restart
download lcc351
run install package
restart
open logitech center in system pref's
still wasn't showing key or mouse - you need to do through the pairing process again
et voila - 4 hours of my life gone

There is a solution to this problem! I am running Mac OS X 10.8.2 and the latest version of LCC 3.6.0 and have almost 100% functionality of the keyboard and mouse, only a few keyboard keys not working, but I can live with it.
Here it is: http://www.cloudgoessocial.net/2010/09/21/logitech
