Keyboards and Keyboard/Mice Combo Sets

I really like this keyboard...but i see logitech only has one for the ipad 2.  I'm wondering if this will work with my new ipad 3rd generation?  A couple of my old cases work with the new ipad so i have a little hope that this one will too.  Does anybody know?  Thanks.

nope.  doesn't fit.  I tried it on my new ipad.  no go.  I spoke to logitech and they had no info about any new models that will fit.

It does kind of work for me.  It's just barely fits, and is a bit twitchy, and takes a bit of fiddling to get on.  May take a couple of tries.  

If you have anything but the thinnest of protectors on the back, then it absolutely won't work.  It will barely work with regular ghost armor on mine, but with carbon fiber, forget about it.  It may chew up the top of the protector.

If you already have a fold up keyboard, feel free to try it out with the 2012 iPad.  If you don't expect to take it in and out of the case daily, go for it.  

That said, if you don't already have a fold up, I'd wait until they change the design for the new one.

I tried it with the NEW iPad (3), but couldn't remove it. Had to take it to Apple Store to get it out, and they had to break the keyboard. When I called Logitech about it, they said that Apple hadn't sent them any specs before the release of the New iPad.

This is the official updated specifications for iPad 3 compatibility.

The new iPad (3rd Generation) has different dimensions from iPad 2, but some accessories can be used with either device:

Keyboard Case for iPad 2 (Y-R0023): Can be used with both iPad 2 and iPad (3rd Generation)

Fold Up Keyboard (Y-R0026): iPad 2 ONLY

Tablet Keyboard for iPad (Y-R0021): Can be used with both iPad 2 and iPad (3rd Generation)
