Do a Hard Reset method to clear the keyboard and mouse settings and reconnect it back to your computer:
• Remove the batteries from the keyboard
• Press the Connect button on the receiver for 10 seconds.
• Press the Connect button on the mouse.
(You might need a pencil tip or other small tip to press the connect button.)
• Insert the batteries back into the keyboard.
• Press the Connect button on the receiver.
• Press the Connect button on the keyboard.

I have exactly the same problem; I browse the whole net and tried all the solutions but nothing. The first time I connected the receiver setpoint picked up my keyboard but did nothing when I tried to use it. I formatted my pc because I thought it might be some previous drivers that is causing it not to work, but now setpoint is not picking up my keyboard anymore. I installed the latest drivers and still nothing. Why is so many ppl having problems with this product and there is still no solution for this??

i am having the sme probelm with my ex100 keyboard & mouse.
It would stop working itself (in 2-3 months) ...miss key strokes...add many keystrokes by itself. changed battery did reset many times but no avail. finally asked for warranty cover & logitech support was nice enough to send me a new one. I only changed the key board (used the old reciver & mouse) and it worked flawlessly for about 2 months but now i have the same prolem again...missing strokes...did hard reset as mentioned above, chenged new batteries but no avail. i am really surprised thie model will work only for a few months each time !!!
if anyone has any suggestions????

I am having a similar problem. My problem is that it is just my keyboard that will not connect. The mouse works perfectly.
If it helps anyone, the keyboard's model number is Y-RHB94. It has new batteries, I have tried the connection process on the keyboard itself and the hard reset one suggested here to no avail. If there is another solution that has been worked out, it would be much appreciated. I hate this old loud PS/2 keyboard I have to use now.

Same problem here. Mouse works just fine but my keyboard seems to have turned into an alien species that has lost all ability to communicate with the receiver. Not even a lousy iiiiiii is possible to perform. CalvinD, if the Hard Reset method worked three years ago now it looks like it doesn't any more. So now what? Am I obliged to go out and buy a new keyboard from another brand other then Logitech that has products that do work and and has a support forum where questions do get answered?

I was definitely a skeptic but I figured I would go ahead and try this because all the logical remedies I have seen and tried just didn't work. Somehow this actually does work. It's got to be some sort of hard reset. Maybe it is some sort of voodoo and we've tapped into the dark RF arts.
Thanks for the help!
