Try plugging the G15 keyboard to another USB port on your computer. Please make sure that your keyboard is connected directly to the USB port on your computer and not through third party USB hubs, KVM switches or adapters.
If the backlight still does not turn off when you do this, please try using the keyboard on another computer and check if the problem repeats with that computer as well.
If the problem remains the same, your keyboard is probably defective.
