Keyboards and Keyboard/Mice Combo Sets

for some reason in some games my keys get like stuck and by stuck i dont mean they stick to the keyboard if i were to hold down lets says W for a certain amount of time it and let it go it would act as if it were still being held down. this happens with all my keys and just started out of the blue i even tried updating the keyboard and it still occurs i am running XP in case you needed to know please help

Can you try the G15 on another computer to rule out a failed keyboard?

Yeah I have this same problem when playing Counterstrike, and pretty much only Counterstrike. I think it may be a CS server-side problem or a program issue, because I haven't had problems with this pretty much anywhere else. Does the game happen to be CS or any form of Half-Life 2 engine? If so, you're not alone, and it may not be your keyboard.

You may want to check for a video card driver update. I was playing DOD on Steam last night and it suggested a video driver update for my Nvidia card. Perhaps there has been some game updates that require newer drivers.

1. It only happens on two games that i have, Enemy Territory and Lord of the Rings Online 2. I dont have a video card i have embedded i will try to update that then come back with the results

ive got exactly the same problem with my Media Keyboard Elite; keys get stuck (not physically) and it started suddenly after ~few months of use... out of the blue as said. Tried different Logitech drivers, cleaned the dirt below keys and so on, but nothing seems to work. And I can assure you it isn't with the grapic drivers because they get stuck even by using Word or generally any keyboard related program (including games from CD and free internet games).

I have also been having this same issue in mulitple games including Vanguard, EQ2, Lord of the Rings online, Half Life 2 and the Crysis Beta (issue has been going on long before the beta so it is not that).

As stated above if I use keys to move the character will not stop moving when I let up on the keys.  I can also move with my mouse (Logitech G5) in most games and I do not have this sticking issue so this tells me it is keyboard related specificaly.  Also in some games when I am typing the keyboard will type out multiples of a single letter for example if I was typing the word New Targanor I might get Neewww Targgannnorr.  I can then back space and press the same letter and it will work fine so it is not happening every time.  I have tried typing very slowly (press one key and wait) and the problem will still happen.

This leads me to beleive that the issue is probably not faulty hardware but a driver/logitech software issue. I have version 1.04.153 of the Keyboard software installed.  up from version 1.02 which came with the keybaord on the CD.  I also have Set Point 4.00.121.

Edit: I removed all Logitech Drivers and software, removed all traces of the keyboard from the Device Manager and restarted my system.  Still had the same issues in games.

Test the keyboard on a different computer. Let me know if you experience the same problem.

I am still having problems with the keys getting stuck in games (mostly FPS or MMO games).  This did not happen when I first got this computer.

I have done the following.

Tested it with different versions of the logitech software - no change

Tested it with no logitech software installed - no change

Formated and reinstalled system with just OS (XP SP2) and one game Vanguard - no change

Tested it on another computer - no change

Received new keyboard - still no change.

The problem only happens in games.  This is really getting frustrating please let me know if there is anything that can be done.
