Keyboards and Keyboard/Mice Combo Sets

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit, and use Logitech's Wave Keyboard.  I've tried and tried to set a keyboard hot key to launch the Desktop Gadget Gallery.  The program file is C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe.  But the hot key absolutely refuses to launch the program.  All the other hot keys work fine.  Any ideas?

i just bought logitech solar keyboard k750 and i set the calculator hotkey (function+f4) to gadgets but it does not work. Does anybody has an idea on this subject too?
