Japanese layout forced on English keyboard. Have both Logicool and Logitech keyboards.

I'm a software developer currently on assignment in Singapore.

My usual keyboard is a Logicool K750 with japanese layout that I use at home.

Today, I bought a Logitech k270 keyboard, as this is Singapore, only the US layout was available. I've just discovered that the controls are in the Japanese layout, for eg. the '[' key is rendered as '@'. Some keystrokes are also unavailable, like the underscore key. On the Japanese layout, it would be a button to the right of the ? key, on the US keyboard there is no such button.

Is there any way for me to activate an english layout when using the k270 at work, and also revert back to a japanese layout while using the k750 at home?

Re: Japanese layout forced on English keyboard. Have both Logicool and Logitech keyboards.

You probably need to tell Windows about the keyboard's layout.

>>Control Panel

>>Region and Language

>>Keyboard and Languages

Then add one that does what you want.

You can probably also get the keyboards and language to show up in Windows Toolbar. That would make it easier to switch between them.
