K270 Keyboard not recognized

Hi, I just bought a K270 keyboard and when I plugged it in, it said it installed the drivers but the keyboard wasn't working. I tried the keyboard on two other computers and it worked perfectly, but I can't get it to be recognized on my computer. I installed both SetPoint and Unifying software and neither recognize that I have a Unifying dongle plugged into my computer. I've tried all the USB ports on my computer also. I heard there was an issue with Motioninjoy, but I uninstalled it and the problem persists.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit

Re: K270 Keyboard not recognized

Hello stikshift,

The uninstaller for that third party application does not seem to work. Remove the controller from the computer.

To uninstall Motioninjoy do the following:

1 . Uninstall the Motioninjoy drivers here "control panel -> programs and features"

2.  Go to device manager and delete all Motioninjoy devices uninstall the devices in the Tab "Human Interface Devices" that  say "MotioninJoy" (remove the controller) You may have to check the box that says "Delete the driver software for this device"

3. Type "regedit" in the search bar and open it. Here you have to search for "DS3" using "Ctrl+F" and delete the DS3.exe

4. Unplug your receiver Reboot

5. Plug your receiver in.
