Here is a solution to what I found. My keyboard LAGGED BIG TIME IN GAMES SUCH AS COD,AND BF3, while searching on the net or just typing a paper, very annoying and frusterating..
SIMPLEST FIX EVER..
The usb transmitter GETS HOT when plugged into back of your motherboard, Get a usb extension cable, plug it in to the extension, plug the extension into one of usb ports on the back of your motherboard, and your done....
That is what fixed my problem, I no longer have issues with my K350 keyboard (which I so very much love) .
Good luck I hope that this was the solution that worked for you.

I just picked up the Solar Keyboard 750 for my Macbook and I noticed the same issue when paired with my 6 month old Marathon Mouse using the Unifying reciever.
For me, it seemed that it was just an interference issue. In this case, I just turned the Bluetooth off and the issue was resolved. I would also go a step further and switch wifi bands to the 5ghz range if necessary.
I don't game so I couldn't tell you if those two ideas would improve performance at all. Hopefully this helps someone.

Can confirm that this fix worked for me, Took the receiver out of the back of the PC and plugged it into an external hub. Can't believe this seems to have worked, I thought it was a joke when I read it. Hopefully I've not spoken to early as it's only been a couple of minutes since I tried it but will report back if I have any more problem. As it is now though I'm typing freely and happily. Wow! It's like the keyboard actually works!!

Just wanted to let you guys know it's not the Unifying receiver. I have a wired keyboard (Comfort Wave 450) and I also have this happen. Cleaning the keyboard with air or some kind of cleaner does help alleviate the problem, but it comes back (sometimes it takes months to return, sometimes weeks or days). I honestly don't know what causes it or how to permanently fix it as I have tried to lower the repeat speed and repeat delay and that doesn't work.
So calling out into the wide expanse of the internet: Can anyone help us?
