Keyboards and Keyboard/Mice Combo Sets

Just received a K400 direct from Logitech.  Purchased because Panasonic list this as the preferred keyboard for their 2012 Viera TVs.  No problem with connecting or the keyboard but the touchpad does not work.  I've tried switching everything off and reconnecting but remains the same.  Any ideas, please?

Hi bob007,

I would suggest testing the keyboard in a computer to first verify that the touchpad works. If it does unfortunately we only support the keyboard with use on a Windows computer and I have no experience with it connected to a television, you may have better luck contacting Panasonic for support.

Just to let you know that Panasonic have now added a sentence to their webshop to say that the mousepad is not enabled for their TV.  Somewhat late for those who bought the K400 or K360 they recommend!  Ah well, at least the keyboard speeds up typing - one day there will be truly integrated TV's and computers; the 2012 50GT50 is a sort of half way there.

seriously i feel rather,yes,cheated that after the tv company advertised that the k400 was compatible with there product.they have cost faithful customers a lot of money all told.leaves one wondering what fair trading standards would have to say about the situation.

Thanks for posting this question and giving some feedback on it. I have exactly the same problem with my K400r and Panasonic smart tv. I now know that the problem could not be solved and you saved me hips of time and site investigation.
