My F7 and F9 function keys, which are supposed to map to rewind/skip song are not working.
I have the LCC software installed and it's not fixing anything. I have this keyboard unified with a mouse on the same receiver, if that makes any difference.

Have you tested if those function keys are not responding as well to other media players? Check if the F7 and F9 function keys on your Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 for Mac would work after re-establishing it's connection using the Logitech Unifying Software. You can follow the steps given below:

The F7 and F9 keys are now working in iTunes but not in Spotify. When I plug in my Apple keyboard, however, the F7 and F9 keys work on Spotify as well as iTunes.
When I hit the Fn key in addition to F7, nothing happens.

I've written a fix for it using AppleScript --
In order to fix this, I downloaded USB-Overdrive. Once USB-Overdrive is installed, it detects the F7 and F9 buttons as "mouse clicks." I changed the setting on the behavior of this special "mouse click" to launch an AppleScript.
I then wrote the following AppleScripts for each button -- note that if you write for one, you must write for the pause button as well! --
tell application "System Events" to set FrontAppName to name of first process where frontmost is true if FrontAppName is "VLC" then tell application "VLC" to play else tell application "Spotify" to playpause end if
tell application "System Events" to set FrontAppName to name of first process where frontmost is true if FrontAppName is "VLC" then tell application "VLC" to next else tell application "Spotify" to next track end if
tell application "System Events" to set FrontAppName to name of first process where frontmost is true if FrontAppName is "VLC" then tell application "VLC" to previous else tell application "Spotify" to previous track end if
I don't know if this is a driver issue or an OS X third-party keyboard issue. Either way, these scripts work to fix these issues.

I've just got this keyboard, installed the logitech control centre and followed the isntrucitons above posted by logitech - same issue as you, the F7 and F9 keys work in itunes but not Spotify (which is where I really want them to work!). I'm not happy about installing scripts to fix something that should work out of the box...... Any idea on when there will be an LCC update to fix this Logitech?

Bought the K750 for use with my Mac a couple of weeks ago, and initially the F7 and F9-keys worked in Spotify, or at least that's how I remember it. Since a few weeks though, they do not work, and this bugs me quite a bit.
Logitech: why is this not working, and can you please solve this?
