I apologize in advance if this message gets hard to read.It will be typed without going to backto fill in missed spaces.
First of all, I love the concept and design of this keyboard.Unfortunately, this one little issue hascaused some slight frustrationin the three days I've owned it.
Apparently, the Space bar isn't as responsive as the other keys.WhenI depress any other key lightly, they will respond appropriately. However, when I give my usual quick tap to the Space bar,I will occasionally get not response. At first,I thought it was because I wasn't pushing the bar near its center (which would also be an issue for me if true), butthe same lack of input ispresent when I push the bar near the center. Pressing the bar lightly will definitely net no response unless I push harder. If I haveto push it only once, I end up havbing to tap on the Space bar harder than I normally do. Even then,I may not get a response.
The same thing happens on any othercomputer and I doubt it's a connectivity issue. The other keys work as they should.
If this is an issue with anyone else who owns the keyboard, then I think there may be something wrong with the design or orientation of the push button beneath the Space bar.

Or it simply may be a factory defect of the perfect stroke blades (if they're present in this model at all...?). A helpful Logitech customer service guy should accept a return in this case.
I had a similar problem with my diNovo's enter key for some time. The key's blades somehow didn' want to place themselves in the mechanism as they should. The defect was gone after a while. Maybe the same will happen to your space bar.
You could obviously try to take it out and back in, but that always implies risk of damaging the delicate mechanism (and - what's even worse - voiding your warranty).
