I bought a K750 Solar keyboard for use at home with my windows desktop, and overall I love it. However, I have a maddening problem whenever I try to use it with my laptop (a MacBook Pro). Ever since I installed the logitech control center (to use my MX Anywhere mouse), I can't change the modifier keys. Before I installed the control panel it was fine, because I just switched Alt and the windows key (using the "Modifier Keys" option in the Apple Keyboard preferences pane) to get a Mac-like keyboard layout. But with the LCC installed, changing that setting has no effect! Furthermore, the K750 doesn't appear in the LCC (presumably because it's not the "for Mac" version), so I can't adjust anythign about it in the control panel. What's the deal? Why is LCC screwing up my keyboard settings even though it isn't even recognizing my keyboard???

Hello eteq,
The K750 will work as a regular keyboard in MAC. However, some of the functions on the keyboard will not work because it will require Setpoint software and the K750 that you have it made for Windows. There is no guarantee that the keyboard settings you have changed in MAC will work since the keyboard is mapped for a Windows platform.

I understand that I can't access all the setpoint options and am ok with that.
The problem is that *installing* setpoint actually breaks a bunch of the builtin Mac settings that worked fine when setpoint was not installed. Is there any way I can tell setpoint to *not* do anything with my keyboard, but still work with my mouse (which is compatible)?

In the normal Mac keyboard settings under modifier keys there should be an option at the top of the window to "select keyboard". The "Unifing keyboard" will be the K750. I've been able to change the modifiers without a problem. in OSX 10.6
