I pair my K810 with 2 PCs and an iPad. Works good for a few hours and they one or two of the devices become unpaired. Then I pair everything up again. Works for a while. Then devices become unpaired. Is this a defective keyboard or are other folks having this issue woth their K810.

I understand that your Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated keyboard K810 keeps unpairing itself from the devices that you pair it with. Please check out the following:
Pressing for more than 2 seconds on a Bluetooth key will start a new Bluetooth pairing. The corresponding Bluetooth LED will start blinking rapidly.
If you aren't able to reconnect a device, make sure you remove it from the PC before you press the Connect button to proceed with the reconnection. If the problem persists, try resetting all Bluetooth connections.
Resetting all Bluetooth connections: Pressing Esc-O Esc-O Esc-B rapidly and in sequence erases all Bluetooth connections from the keyboard's permanent memory. ("OOB" means that keyboard is back to the state it was when it was taken "Out Of the Box".)
These keys need to be pressed very quickly one after the other. The keyboard acknowledges the operation by blinking the three Bluetooth LEDs together, twice.
If it doesn't perform this double blink, enter the key sequence again until it does. To complete the process, restart the keyboard by switching it off and back on.
Touching the keyboard not only turns the backlight on, but also starts the Bluetooth reconnection if it wasn't already established. Typically, when your PC just wakes up and prompts you to enter your password, just touch the keyboard, and then start typing when the Bluetooth LED stops blinking and glows solid blue.

I'm having a very similar issue. The keyboard loses connectivity with the devices it's paired with. I've tested this on an Current model Ipad, an HP laptop running Windows 7 Professional, a Gateway Windows 7 Home Premium and a MacBook Air on OS X 10.8.2. Every 2 hours or so the keyboard becomes unresponsive. On the Apple products I have to pair the keyboard again, on both windows machines I have to reboot the laptops to sync.
I love the keyboard, but it's driving me crazy and impacting my workday when I'm constantly having to save my work and reboot.
Just to note, I'm not using the keyboard on a metal surface, there is direct line of sight to the keyboard and no other devices using bluetooth in the area. I'm positive it's not a driver issue as the logitech trackpad is also connected and NEVER loses connectivity.

Since your K810 keyboard is having a connectivity issue with more than one device, this is most likely a hardware failure, you can contact the Logitech Customer Support team in your area for further assistance with this.

I am only using one computer (win 7 home premium) and the keyboard keeps unpairing. This is super annoying as the last Logitech keyboard never had this issue. I am considering returning the device unless a true fix can be recommended, not a multi keystroke workaround for a firmware or driver problem.

Let me suggest testing the Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810 on a different computer.

What you recommended did not work for me. I think I will return it unless there is a better fix. This is way too frustrating. Surely someone can make a keyboard thatwill pair with Windows 7. Does Logitech have any such keyboards?

I am having the same issue. Logitech sent a new keyboard (thank you). The new keyboard paired immediately, worked for two days, then stopped pairing. Just like the first one.
I am tired of the canned responses we receive on this blog. I'm tired of being told that I should try the keyboard on 'different computers' (this keyboard should work on all computers, as long as they are running the proper OS. I am tired of being told that it must be something with my computer...it's NOT. Many people are having this problem. In my opinion, it's a poor implementation of the BT technology. Will Logitech admit to it? Probably not. Is Logitech willing to really look into the issue and offer a proper fix; doesn't seem like that's the case.
I am tired of the fact that a mutli million (billion??) dollar company such as Logitech appears incapable of addressing this BT pairing issue with a long term/permanent solution.
I paid $99.00, plus tax, plus shipping for this keybaord, and it is useless. I want my money back. This keayboard is completely unusable. If you buy one; you will most likely regret it!!!

i have the same problem. i have to reconnect/reset connection with my pc or turn on/off switch many times before it would connect. logitech please provide a solution.
