I recently purchased a keyboard (Logitech K200) to use with my HP Pavilion dv6-1130tx laptop, running windows vista 32 bit. The box said that you simply had to plug it in and it would use the default drivers from my computer to run. After plugging in, the found new hardware box came up, so I chose to locate and install drivers, which failed, giving me a message saying to insert the disc which came with the keyboard (which doesn't come with this particular keyboard). I came onto the Logitech website to locate drivers to try and find drivers for the keyboard, and it told me this:
"This product does not ship with software. It uses the native USB drivers already present in your operating system."
Obviously my drivers are a bit messed up, I was wondering if there was a way to re install the drivers which I need for this keyboard to work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Adam7a,
The drivers can be obtained a few ways, the easiest would be a Windows Repair using a Windows Vista CD, this takes around 15 minutes or so to do. Alternatively, you can copy the drivers (C:\WINDOWS\inf folder) from another Vista computer, or you can also do a system restore to a previous point when a keyboard was working on the machine.
But just to make sure it is not a physical defect with the keyboard, you should test it on a second computer to verify that it works. You may also want to try contacting Microsoft for additional suggestions.
