Keyboard tab missing - Cordless Wave pro

I am having problems getting setpoint to recognise my cordless wave. It does work, so basic typing etc is ok. But I want to reassign some of the keys but the tab in setpoint for the keyboard is missing. I have tried reinstalling over the top, clean install and the various other solutions posted in the forums with both 4.6 (the version that came with the box) and 4.7 (downloaded) but no luck so far.

Setup: Windows XP32 SP3, Celeron D, it’s a work computer so not sure what other hardware, but its pretty basic setup. Bought the cordless wave pro package.

How do I get the keyboard tab? Or is there another way to reassign the function keys without using setpoint?

It’s a nice keyboard, but would really like to get some of the advanced features working…

Nop, does not work.

I've uninstalled and re-installed Setpoint with a new account, Setpoint still works but no Keyboard-tab ...

Not on that "new" account nor on my account.

Oh and BTW ... detect your Devices doesn't detect my keyboard nor the mouse going with, but I can still personalize that mouse but not the keyboarrd

Re: Keyboard tab missing - Cordless Wave pro

Hello jappie:

Thank you for posting your issue to the Logitech Community Forums.

Since the above steps did not work. Please:

1)Uninstall setpoint

2)Rename wdf01000.sys in c:\windows\system32\drivers\wdf01000.sys to wdf01000.bak

3)Reboot your computer and

4)Reinstall latest version of setpoint at ftp://ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/mouse/

Then, see if the keyboard tab shows in setpoint?

Hope this helps!

Re: Keyboard tab missing - Cordless Wave pro

Thing is, I already did that and after re-boot, my PC crashed because "a system file was missing".

I managed to get my PC repaired but I'm not keen in doing it once more :smileywink:

I also tried updating the drivers of my keyboard then installing setpoint.

I even uninstalled the drivers from my Logitech Keyboard, used another keyboard to install Setpoint en then I connected my Logitch Keyboard but still doesn't work
