I have been using the lx310 for about a week now and there is a problem. The receiver seems to only process either the keyboard or the mouse signal. It cannot do both at the same time. I noticed this first while playing a game. I would press the move and it would be jerking. I noticed that once I took my hand off the mouse, there wasn't a problem anymore.
I then exited the game. I loaded up MS Word. I typed with one hand and moved the mouse with the other one. THe mouse pointed kept moving, but it interupted the typing. If I moved the mouse fast enough, no letters would be typed. Further, there wasn't a backlog of letters either. If I stopped moving the mouse, none of the letters would show up.
I have checked for new drivers, and windows says they are up to date. I installed and updated SetPoint. Finally, I changed the keyboard settings to repeat delay short and repeat rate to fast. None of this has resolved the problem.
Is there a way to fix this? Is something defective? Or is the product one where the keyboard/mouse just doesn't work at the same time (if so, then I need to see if I can get my money back.)

I'm happy to assist you with your Cordless Desktop LX 310 Laser and the issue with the devices not working properly. Both devices should work simultaneously, so they seem to have some sort of interference issue, not with each other but other things around them, please check out the following FAQ:
If after you rule out all probable interference causes the issue persist, please provide us with the Operating System you are using to further assist you.

So there are three possible lights on the receiver A F I. Previously, F and I both had their lights on. Starting last night, the problem I am having fixed itself. Now, only the F light is on. Did the I mean interference? Just trying to figure things out to make sure the problem doesn't start again.

I don't think that the 1 LED light on the receiver meant interference since that only indicates that the NumLock was on, however I'm glad that the combo is working properly now.

Yeah I realized it is a 1 now. However, I think I will need to return this keyboard and mouse. Interference happens constanly. It requires me to constantly switch from channel 1 to 2. Sometimes, both have interference. The keyboard is secured. I have never had this problem with previous logitch combos. There is something defective with this set, or the 2.4 ghz frequency was a bad choice on logitech's part.
