Hello,
Using SetPoint 6.00.68 on Windows 7 Ultimate, the mouse does work and is detected correctly (as "LX7 Cordless Laser Mouse") in SetPoint. The keyboard, however, is detected as a generic "Cordless keyboard", but does not work (neither special keys nor ordinary keys). It reports as connected to channel 2 with good battery power.
The keyboard itself seems to be powered correctly - the battery check button lights up when I press the "Check" button in the top right corner. Pressing "Connect" causes it to flash green eight times. Pressing CTRL-ALT-F12 causes it to blink 25 times. Nothing happens in the "Secure Encryption Wizard" when I do this though.
FWIW, other Logitech devices currently connected include a QuickCam Pro 9000 and a UltraX Optical Mouse (the latter also correctly deteced in SitePoint). Disconnecting these devices doesn't seem to change anything though. I've tried disconnecting all other USB peripherals and tried different USB ports for the sender/receiver to no avail.
Any ideas? It's not much to go on I know, but then again this software doesn't offer much diagnostical data as far as I can tell (eg. what data it gets from the keyboard that makes it label it with a generic name) ...
FWIW 2, here's the data on the sticker on keyboard:
M/N: Y-RBA78
P/N: 820-000108
PID: MC 9 42 S Z
Regards,
Bjørn
