Keyboards and Keyboard/Mice Combo Sets

Hi Folks,

I have an LX 700 wireless keyboard/mouse combo that's been sitting on the shelf for a few years now. Dog knocked coffee on my other keyboard so I'm trying to break out the LX 700 again.

I have Windows 7 32 Bit and have the wireless receiver connected via USB. The PS2 mouse cord is unplugged and I don't know where the power adapter is. The power cord is just for charging the mouse anyway, right?

Problem is only a few keys work. The connection to the wireless reciever seems to work. The sleep key works. F Mode works. But nothing below that line works: no letter keys, caps lock, num lock, etc.

I ran the installation/driver CD and don't have some of the options I see in the pictures for securing the keyboard etc.

Do I need a USB to PS2 adapter? Is it totally incompatible with Windows 7? Any suggestions? Help would be very much appreciated.

Try the following steps and check if they might resolve the issue:

1. Go to the Control Panel. Then select Ease of Access. Click "change how the keyboard works" or "make the keyboard easier to use". Make sure enable toggle keys,enable sticky keys and enable filters keys are unchecked.

2. Download and install the latest version of Setpoint for the LX 700 from the Logitech website (click here). Once you have the latest version of the software installed, run the secure encryption for the keyboard (check here for instructions).
