Logitech DiNovo Edge only works in charger. The keyboard works in the charger when the power button is at "off". If it is in the charger the battery icon blink/steady light.
If I turn the power button to "on" it's totally dead. Haven't got a singel sign of "life" when it's not in the charger, not even for a second.
If the power button is at "On" it's totally dead in charger and also when it's not in the charger.
I have tried everything I could possible think of after searching the web for several hours.
Everything started when the keyboard started beeping constantly in the charger and light up and down. After a while the battery icon at the keyboard started to blink one green followed by a fast blinking red light. Decided to open up the keyboard because it's older than 3 years so don't have any warranty left.
Couldn't see any loose cables and also used a multimeter to see if some cable didn't have contact but all of them is ok. So I ordered a new battery, the new battery doesn't help more than that the red light is gone. It now act as it should with blinking green until it's fully loaded then it gets a steady green light.
But it's still dead if it isn't in the charger. It works the same with or without battery. Have also meassured the power switch and can't see something wrong with it, it behaves as a power switch should behave.
Also saw a post about the "CAP" behind the sleep button. I don't have any CAP, I have a cable instead. But every button around works when it's in the charger, including the sleep button.
Can also say that when I got the battery it wasn't fully loaded but I charged the keyboard and the battery also charged.
I also meassured the voltage with the multimeter and got that it was fully charged. So the charging in the keyboard also works. But it seems to be impossible to get this keyboard to start using power from the battery.
Anyone that have any tip that can be worth trying? I feel out of options right now.
The keyboard isn't frequently used I would estimate that it's used a total of 1 year normal usage.
So I give this a last chance of perhaps getting it to work. Don't have any plans of buying a new one when this seems to be a common problem with this keyboard. I was just unlucky to get this problem when the warranty had expired.

Hello
So glad I found this post!
EXACTLY THE SAME THING HAPPENS TO MY DINOVO EDGE TOO.
Works only in charger, on/off buttons.. the same exact thing.
This happened when my son (3 years) spilled some water on the keyboard. I instantly turned it off, turn it upside down, so the water goes out. left it for the night turned, so it can dry.
Tommorow it didnt respond at all, untill I put it on to the charger.
Now I have the same problem you do.
any help with this??
