I have very recently gotten the Logitech K800 Wireless Keyboard and am massly pleased with it. I did have one question, though. Is there a way to change the media keys to work with any program besides Windows Media Player? I have no use for that joke of a media player and would prefer to use my favorite media player, Clementine. As you can see in the Clementine Screenshot, I have Clementine setup to recognize the media keys to play/pause, previous track, and next track. I have the same exact setup at work using a wired hp keyboard that has media buttons and it works.
Thanks for any help and let me know if you need me to provide any more information.

Have you tried changing the program "associated" with media files in Windows?
First, though, what program have you set for "Media Player" in "F Key Settings" in SetPoint?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, but I'm not too sure what you mean by the first question.
As you can see in the picture (I really wish I was able to attach/embed pictures in this forum) the only two options are Windows Media Center and Windows Media Player 12.

If you are in Windows Explorer, what happens when you double click a media file?
If it automatically opens in Windows Media Player that is because the media file type (mp2, mp3, mpg, avi, etc) is "associated" with Media Player. (You might find it useful to investigate "associate" in Windows.) If you can find the settings in Clementine that make files automatically open in it, then you may find that Clementine is also available in SetPoint.
If a file does open in Media Player, then "right click" the file, choose "Open with", "Choose default player", pick Clementine and see what happens.
For example, for reasons best known to Steve Jobs, I also have iTunes on one of my PCs. This is also available in SetPoint.
You might also want to ask over at the Clementine website for advice on how to make this media player available to other programs. SetPoint almost certainly takes its cues from Windows when deciding which programs to show. If Windows can't see Clementine as a media player, then SetPoint might not see it either.

Aha. I now understand. I'll try associating Clementine with the music files. My best bet will probably getting Clementine to recognize Setpoint. It's open-source and they release nightly builds so it shouldn't be too difficult to get some support. Appreciate it.

If iPlayer shows up for SetPoint, then any self respecting software creator will want to do at least as well.
By the way, I looked at the Clementine site, and it appears to be a seriously useful piece of software.
There are so many media players out there that it is hard to know which to use. Too many are bloated and slow – iTunes and RealPlayer for example are no better than Windows Media Player.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I did find a post showing how to manually input a program into setpoint and I might give that a shot as well: Logitech MediaPlay mouse and foobar2000 - Hydrogenaudio Forums.
You should definitely check out Clementine (I found it while using linux). For me, iTunes comes in second place but it's a far second place. Clementine can do everything iTunes can and more. Plus it looks pretty.
I'll be sure to post my findings soon.

Figured it out! It seems as if it really is a Logitech problem since in C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPointP\players.ini they have access points for all kinds of media players but not Clementine (rightfully so since not too many people use it on Windows).
I used the forum Logitech MediaPlay mouse and foobar2000 - Hydrogenaudio Forums as guidance.
First, under [Players]:
[Players] Clementine=key,clementine.exe,CLEMENTINE_CLASS,xxx,xxx,C,X,Z,B,V,0,0,Clementine
Then under [Players.Run]:
[Players.Run] Clementine=path,C:\Program Files (x86)\Clementine
Lastly under [Players.Display]
[Players.Display] Clementine=Clementine
Restart Setpoint and Voila! Your program should show up. I'm sure any program can be added just by replacing Clementine with the program name and under {Players.Run], link to the path of the exe file.

That's what I call good work. Well done.
Nice one. It should help other folks in the same boat.
It is also the sort of "hack" that they won't offer officially.

Thanks. That's why I reported my findings. There's absolutely nothing worse than Googling a question to find somebody else ask the same exact question with 8 posts in the topic and no answer.
Hopefully I just saved someone else a headache.
