Ok guys, I'm not sure how to describe this problem so I'll try my best to do so.
In the last couple of weeks the mouse in my Logitech MX3200 keyboard/mouse combination has been acting really weird. For example, sometimes I can't use the mouse to drag the slider in a web browser or any program to scroll down or up. It will just freeze up and I'll have to click and drag the slider again. Also, it seems like sometime left clicking action isn't registered by the mouse unless I press the left click button further close to the edge. The whole experience in using the mouse doesn't seem very intuitive. It just doesn't give a consistent and good experience. This problem occurs on both a Windows XP and Windows Vista platform. I've also got the latest setpoint 4.72 installed. Different sets of batteries does not resolve the problem. So what should I do? Should I call Logitech CS and pray that they'll send me a new mouse or there's something else that I can do?

Hi
,
Base on your description of the symptoms, this looks like a case of worn out/defective microswitches, which is covered by the warranty. Please contact Customer Support to make your warranty claim.
