Logitech mk520 Combo Not Working

I just bought the Logitech mk520 Wireless Combo and it is not working. I put the unifying device in all my USB ports and the drivers installed on all of them. I ran the unifying software but it says "There is no Unifying receiver plugged into your computer." I reset the computer and changed ports but it says this each time. The Device Manager reads that a HID-compliant mouse and HID keyboard are there. I have tried using it on another computer and works on that one.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit

Re: Logitech mk520 Combo Not Working

Hello Nixman,

Go to the device manager and check if you see any entry for an unknown device or if there is a device with an exclamation or question mark. Also, go to the Control Panel> Hardware and Sound> Devices and Printers. Check if you see any unknown device too. I will be providing addition troubleshooting steps based on what you will find on the device manager and devices and printers.

Under the unspecified category there is an HID-compliant input device.

Hello Nixman,

Ok, we need to try manually installing the driver to make your devices work. Go to the device manager and under "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" or "Other Devices", look for an entry with an exclamation mark.

-Right click the device with an exclamation mark..

-Click update driver software.

-Click "Browse my computer for driver software".

-Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers in my computer.

-Under show compatible hardware, select "USB composite device".

I hope this helps. :smileyhappy:

Re: Logitech mk520 Combo Not Working

Now there is a "Logitech Unifying Device" in the 'Devices" section, but the mouse and keyboard still do not work nor is the Unifying devise being read by the Unifying Software.
