Keyboards and Keyboard/Mice Combo Sets

i used the M$ "Fix it" program for usb drives (yunno how sometimes suddenly Windows can't see a usb key you've plugged and unplugged dozens of times before?)

i wanted to fix that issue with this program : http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/usb-fix-it-official-microsoft-tool-to-repair-removable-dev...

and instead it corrupted my usb keyboard installation.

i've removed the LGS software, rebooted and reinstalled it, still same error message.

How do it fix this ?

i think it might fixable if i reinstall ms vc++ but which one?

If this is recent, do you have a Windows System Restore Point that you can go back to?

I would expect a Microsoft to create a Restore Point before "Fix it" does anything.

it won't work in this case.

when running the app it said it would remove the upper and lower filters for the usb drives, maybe this could have done something to the keyboard software.

maybe the real problem is ms VC++ but which one is the right one ?
