Re: MK260 Keyboard Hotkeys not working.

Hello Bryan Chung:

Thank you for posting your issue to the Logitech Community Forums.

In a situation like this I would ask that you try the keyboard on another computer system to see if you get the same results or not? If it does work on another system then there is a problem with the operating system of the original computer.

However, if it does not work on another system then please contact your Customer Care Centre. They may have other options up to, and including, replacement.

Hope this helps!

Re: MK260 Keyboard Hotkeys not working.

Alright will give it a try on my laptop too then. If it failed, then I will do as you say. :smileysad:

What's strange is that all the 8 keys, only 1 is working - that is the "PC" button.

So what happens if let's say it works on my laptop? Anyway to solve this problem? :smileysurprised:

Re: MK260 Keyboard Hotkeys not working.

Hi,

Indeed, the hotkeys work with my laptop, though it's running on Vista and not Win 7. I do not have another Win 7 system. But now I know that it is not the keyboard that is faulty. Hence I cannot bring back to the shop to do an exchange. I have done a Windows Update but there is no update related with keyboard/mouse.

What should I do next? :smileysad:

Re: MK260 Keyboard Hotkeys not working.

Hello Bryan Chung:

Thank you for posting your issue to the Logitech Community Forums.

Since we know that your keyboard/Mouse combo works on another PC some things that you can try is:

1) if you have it plugged in to a hub, router or port replicator please plug directly into the computers 2.0 USB port

2) if plugged into the front of the computer please plug into the back of the computer

3) make sure it is a 2.0 USB port that you are plugging it into

4) consult your computer manufacturer

Hope this helps!

Re: MK260 Keyboard Hotkeys not working.

Is this keyboard even Windows 7 compatible? I don't see Windows 7 sticker on the box. :smileysad:
