For some reason, my mouse has suddenly stopped working. The keyboard is working fine, but the software is not recognizing the mouse at all. I have tried changing the batteries and reconnecting multiple times.

Hello g0ri11a,
I have provided a link with some helpful tips for getting your MK300 mouse connected again:
If your batteries are good and making contact, you should briefly see a green light on the top of the mouse.
If the issue persists after trying the tips in the links and checking the batteries, I suggest contacting Logitech Customer Care for your region to check the warranty status of your MK300.
Best Regards,
