if you always have this problem.... the MK320 use Windows Natif driver, this why the hotkey for music control work just with WMP(windows media player) for use with iTunes or Winamp just download and use "MediaKeys"

Going to SERVICES and changing HID Input Services from disabled to automatic fixed my problem. I am using Windows XP Home with SP3. I had to do a restart to apply this change. Thanks for these "FIXIT" Forums!

I had the same issue in 32bit XP.
I switched to a Microsoft Natural kb driver, then switched back to the "HID Keyboard Device", low and behold the media keys work again.
I suspect some update patch from MS corrupted the original file, with the reinstall the files were refreshed.

If its your play/pause, next, and previous buttons that are not working, then you might need to go to your media player and allow hot key media buttons to be used.
I was getting frustrated with the keybroads buttons not working and then it dawned on me that it might be the media player ( im using winamp). If you go to options>preferences>global hotkeys and then enable them it those three buttons will work.
If its all of the media buttons up to use the services technique
Hope this helps.

Hi, for anyone still having this problem (note, I haven't read most of the replies yet), try turning off your keyboard at the back. It fixed my problem.
Good luck you lot!

Turning on and off the keyboard worked great ... Incredible as it sounds, it's that simple.

I also had the issue and could fix it by starting the "Human Interface Device Access" service and setting it to Automatic start.
No idea why it was stopped (the keyboard hotkeys used to work for one month after purchasing it, so the service was supposedly working at that time)
Thanks nithin2e!
