I have had my MK550 Wave for about 5 months. Yesterday, the number pad on the right side just stopped working. I disabled the Number lock-so that is not the problem. Also, only the numbers won't type-Enter, hyphen, plus sign and backslash all work. This is very strange and I could not find anything on the boards like this problem. Thanks in advance.

You're lucky you found a keyboard that lasted that long.
Until I got the K800 illuminated keyboard, mine became unusable after a year or so, sometimes less, because the letters wore off.

Actually when I checked I bought it at the end of November. So I called them and they are sending me a new keyboard. Thanks!

I'm having this issue also. All the searches I did told me to use the on screen keyboard which is no help. Is this a problem with the keyboard itself and needs replacing or is it something wrong with my BIOS or setpoint?

Hello mussikk6,
I'm wondering if you re-enabled the num-lock in SetPoint to test if it would turn the numbers back on? It is possible that they were turned off by another application. You could also test the keyboard on a different computer.

Same thing has happened to mine! I keep trying to find an answer, but none seems forthcoming. However, I have found that it works when I am typing in my password to log into the computer, before it really logs on. Seems to be a Windows issue. I also noticed that the problem occurred right after a new windows update!

Hello mkweaver,
There are a few situations that can cause this issue.
Make sure your Num Lock is on.
You may have Mouse Keys enabled, to check this, open Ease of Access Center by clicking the Start button> clicking Control Panel>clicking Ease of Access, and then clicking Ease of Access Center.
Click Make the mouse easier to use. Under Control the mouse with the keyboard, select the Turn on Mouse Keys and remove the check from the box.
You may have an application installed that is designed to assist with configuration of another control device, such as a touch pad, mouse or a different keyboard.
Hope this helps!
