Hello
I have strange problem with my keyboard - all works perfectly , no disconnections etc... but... From setpoint update 4.6BT i have problem with numeric keypad - all works perfectly in aplicattions, but in game all keys are visible as "numlock" (this keyboard dont have that key), and if i set that keys on other keyboards they work perfectly in this MX. I reinstalled many times Windows XP PRO SP3, instaling Setpoint or dont , and manual registry editing - and no effects. Please help...

Mine seems to work fine with games but for some reason when I play Warhammer Online at random times my keyboard will turn French on me. The / key used for all commands in the game goes from / to é for no reason.
Is there a fix to this?

Hi
,
PhantomRK, please try performing a clean install of SetPoint 4.7.
Jasonf6, it looks like you accidentally hit a key combination that switches your keyboard's input language to French. Please try the following steps to prevent this:
a) Open Regional and Language Settings in Control Panel.
b) Click on the 'Languages' tab.
c) Click on the 'Details' button. A new window will open.
d) In the new window (Text Services and Input Languages), click on the 'Key Settings' button and make sure there are not keys set to change the input language.
e) Make sure the Default input language is set to English(United States).
f) Clock on 'Apply'. Click on 'OK'.

Hi PhantomRK
,
Please check if you have any other keyboard software installed on your system. These can sometimes cause conflicts with SetPoint's functionality. Additionally, what was the last version of SetPoint used that didn't have this problem?

Hi CJ
Thanks for quick answering.
I dont use any other keyboard software, if i remember, the last good working setpoint was 4.4. But why this keys dont work properly without software and windcomm drivers?? ( I trying any soft/drivers configurations without effects (SetPoint 4.6 or 4.7)). Maybe this is not software/drivers problem, but firmware? If i don't be wrong, this could be happen after the last firmware update... Is any way to prove that - downgrade firmware or something? Or maybe some drivers/programs incompability? If this help I can send all lists of drivers and programs have installed on that PC, and hardware list.

I was sick, and have more time to check that problem... Now i set to fight with this - on clean XP, i will install only base drivers (chipset, graphic card, and audio) dont install any additional programs, and i will see what hapen...
Now is 18:40 and i surely know - no programs or drivers have interference with this keyboard. Win XP SP3 + drivers for agp, graphic card and audio, and still numeric keypad is shown in games as numlock. I have discovered one more strange behavior - when i can set my nick in game i can normaly use numeric keys, but if i want to set keys in game all is as numlock (keys from numeric keypad of course 0-9/./enter/+/-/*///backspace).... I dont know what can i do with them, and what i say before - reason for me is plug other keyboard, set keys for games and unplug it. When it is done, my MX5000 keyboard works fine...

Hi
,
Please try using the keyboard on a different computer. This will confirm if the problem is with the hardware or something in your system.
