Keyboards and Keyboard/Mice Combo Sets

I have had the cordless Wave keyboard & LX8 mouse combo for about 2 weeks and have issues with the mouse & keyboard working for about 30 minutes then the mouse has problems and the keyboard may or may not continue working.  I contacted tech support online last week, heard back, did All of their suggestions, but issue was not resolved.  It has been another week and I have yet to hear back from online tech support.

I'm using Setpoint 4.8 software.  I've adjusted the pointer speed to all possible settings.  I have "secured" the keyboard connection.  I have re-connected the mouse & keyboard to the usb receiver many, many, many, many times.  Everything I try & the keyboard & mouse will work for only a 1/2 hour or so then I have to adjust Setpoint or re-connect.

I have tried this on 4 PC's running windows XP, windows Vista SP2, & Windows 7 RC.  I get the same 30 minutes of work time then the devices quit.  Problem happens both with & without using Setpoint 4.8.

Mouse has a small quirk.  For it to work, I have to hold the Left side up off the white mouse pad about 1/8".  it will work for about 1/2 hour and again fail.

Any ideas?

when the issues happens try closing Setpoint 4.8

I have a similar issue (on vista 64) After about half an hour (sometimes longer) all kinds of weird things begin to happen.  When I force quit setpoint the keyboard and mouse seem to reset to basic functions.

problem continues to happen with SetPoint forced to be closed.
