Keyboards and Keyboard/Mice Combo Sets

Every so often, my mouse behaves like it's wading through molasses...

It is iiiiinnnnnnnnnnncredibly ssssllllllooooooooowwwwwww to

respond.... and, suddenly, it zips across the screen

It will also begin to highlight everything in its path.

It also seems to be like a magnet... things stick to it... and I

can't  get them to let go... have to hit "escape" .

I make sure the little opening in the bottom is free of lint

and keep my mouse surface clean.

I've tried replacing batteries... rebooting my computer...

The mouse will behave like this for a couple of days or

weeks... and then, the behaviour stops for weeks or

months.

Sure would appreciate some t houghts about this

and suggestions on how to fix it...

I love this mouse and keyboard combo (Wave cordless)

What operating system are you using? Does this issue tend to be more prominent after waking your system?
