Keyboards and Keyboard/Mice Combo Sets

I changed the batteries in my keyboard and now the numeric keypad is not working.  There is no numlock key to turn it back on and I can't find any other way to do it.  I've looked at numerous threads on this forum but they are quite contradictory and seem more focussed on turning the numeric keypad off.  I use this keyboard for accounting functions and need a numeric keypad!!  How do I get it back?

Hi,

It is possible that your keyboard might need to be reset. Please try the following steps to do this: 

a)       Remove the batteries.

b)       Type for about 30 seconds to clear the capacitor.

c)       Insert fresh batteries.

d)  Reconnect the keyboard.
