Optimal "unifying" setup for diNovo Edge + Performance Mouse MX + Wireless Number Pad N305

I'm planning on purchasing the following set of input products: diNovo Edge, Performance Mouse MX and Wireless Number Pad N305.

Going through the Unifying products page and some threads on these forums, I've double-checked that the diNovo Edge is the only one of the three that doesn't support "Unifying" (despite it's misleading "Unifying-like" USB mini-receiver).

My laptop has built-in bluetooth, so the most "USB port sparing" solution I can envision is as follows:

->diNovo Edge connected through bluetooth

->Performance Mouse MX + Wireless Number Pad N305 connected through one single "Unifying receiver"

Can someone confirm the viability of the above setup?

Thanks

Re: Optimal "unifying" setup for diNovo Edge + Performance Mouse MX + Wireless Number Pad

Hello again.

Got a hold of the products a couple days ago and successfully tested the above mentioned configuration on both Windows XP and Mac OS X Leopard. Everything works flawlessly on Windows. On the Mac side, although the Unyfing process does work, the Number Pad N305 suffers from frequente haphazard behaviors, sending out random key codes that render it useless for most applications.

Hope someone out there finds this information useful.

There's now a way to make this work on Macs, please see post 5 on this thread.
