Keyboards and Keyboard/Mice Combo Sets

Cordless Wave keyboard + mouse.  No problem until I replaced wireless transmitter recently.  Mouse is now very erratic, locking in scroll function without even touching the button and sometimes without even touching the mouse at all and it is very difficult to get it unlocked.  Keyboard still functions OK.  I've moved the receiver to a different USB port and Vista recognized it.  No help.  I even took the scroll wheel out of the mouse thinking maybe there was an internal problem in the mouse.  That was no help.  I've reconnected the receiver and mouse numerous times, no help.

Mouse PN: 810-000153

New receiver PN: 831842-0000

this receiver PN is not recognized in Logitech on line system.

The new replacement receiver PN listed online is different: 993-000069

Do you think Logitech shipped me the wrong replacement receiver since the part number is not listed in Logitech system?

Is there some settings I am not aware of?

Or has my my mouse failed?

Help please!

According to the product list that I have, the receiver that you received is the correct one for the Cordless Desktop Wave.

Thanks for the reply CJ.  I just thought it very strange that when I plugged the part number in on the Logitech sight it did not recognize it.  And my problem began as soon as I installed the new rcvr.

Looks like i'll have to replace something soon.

I have a question about that topic. I broke the mini receveir of my LX710 Keyboard+Mouse.

The reference of my mini receiver is P/N 831842-0000

When I go to the spare parts page on Logitech Web Site, I find the mini receiver for LX710 Keybord+Mouse, but the reference is different : PN 993-000067

Before I order it from Logitech, I want to be sure that there is no error, and that the mini receiver sold on the Website is actually compatible with my devices.

I contacted the Customer Support for France (where I am), but... they couldn't answer me positively or negatively...
