The short answer to the first half of your question is: YES. It will work. I bought one just for this purpose. As for what others will, I haven't a clue, but I did read elsewhere on here that the reciever for the s510 will also work with the s520... So I would assume it too, will work. ANY corded keyboard ought to.... But don't quote me on that. I have NOT tested every corded keyboard. Just one, and it did work. What I liked most about the s520, ( the ONLY combo set I could find that was NOT bluetooth) is: It's NOT bluetooth! It uses 27 Mhz radio frequency, apparently. Line of sight isn't needed like with the Infrared types, and bluetoot types have too little range for my setup. This one was just right, until a dog ate the reciever... No kidding, ATE it. I'm hoping to get just the reciever part...
But it worked great with the PS3, as well as every computer I tried it on, laptops and desktops. No interferance with cell phones, cordless phones, WIFY, or other bluetooth devices, since it used a frequency WAY below any of those. (Actually, Citizen's Band or CB, frequency, at 27 Mhz... CB's start at 27 Mhz, going up to the lower 29 Mhz range) Presumably, a strong CB signal could interfere... But unless you are close to a highway, it's unlikely that will be a problem these days. As it's listed as just 27 Mhz, it may not even be in the CB band at all. (But I bet you it is... it used to be very common to use the unlicensed part of the band, under FCC part 15 rules... Very Low power... and can't cause any interference.. wich is very unlikely in any event) Good luck.
