Keyboards and Keyboard/Mice Combo Sets

While using my MX 5500 Revolution Keyboard and Mouse Combo and SetPoint 4.70, I had wonderful experiences with Firefox till version 2.x. However since 3.x, Firefox is just crashing endlessly. Often Firefox 3.x will crash even without user interaction. With a web page open in a while, Firefox will crash itself. I can't pin down on particular web pages.

I have identical hardware configurations and security programs running as resident under both Firefox 2.x and 3.x. I am thinking it might be SetPoint 4.70 is conflicting the new Firefox 3.x. So I want to confirm with you guys/gals. If you've found resolution please by all means advise.

- Logitech MX 5500 Revolution Keyboard and Mouse Combo

- Driver: SetPoint 4.70 (haven't tried 4.72 as all I see is Vista support added)

- OS: Windows XP SP2

- Browser: Firefox 3.x up to 3.51

I have an LX710, but otherwise the same system.  I have had no problems with FF3, and very few with FF3.5.  I have noticed a FEW crashes with 3.5.  Two or three at the most since installing FF3.5.  This is expected with a major new release, and there are some know bugs which should be fixed Real Soon Now.
