Hello AsFarAsLarry,
Happy to hear that you over came the MS patch disaster ! I suggest that you go back to Setpoint 4.80 and see if that is the issue. From your description it does seem like a power saving option but maybe not the USB ports . Here are the links to get Setpoint 32 bit and 64 bit .
Regards,

Hi Cintech,
With Setpoint 4.80, you could add Favorites for WebPages.
With Setpoint 6.20, you can't.
Is Logitech going to correct that short-coming?
Also, I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit with Service Pack 1 installed and Setpoint 6.20.50 Control Center Version. When I click to Check for Updates, it states it is Up-to-Date.
I heard that Setpoint 6.22 was out.

Regards,
I checked my power settings, and it looks like they didn't reset or change any of my USB power saving settings under high perf (which are disabled).
Having said that, it would appear I can't install 480 because when I try to uninstall, I get a little window with an ! and an [Ok] ... but no message. I thought maybe it was because it was still running, so I stopped it and tried to uninstall, same thing. I tried to install 480 anyways, but as I suspected, it told me I had a newer one installed.
I guess I'll just restart the app each morning and hope for an update to fix that soon. At least I 'hope' it's just a driver issue at this point ![]()
Thanks for the responses!

The left and right scroll has not worked for me since version 4.24. I use CAD programs such as PCAD2006 SP2 and the latest version of CAM350. Why is this broken? When will it be fixed? I can not accept the answer to use a version that is over 4 years old. Oh but it does work with Internet Explorer, is that all it supports is microsoft programs?

It's kinda a trip. It doesn't happen 'every' morning, but some mornings, I have to stop it and start it again.
It 'might' be tied to powering off the mouse, but I haven't bothered to collect any reliable test data on that front. I usually turn the mouse off every night (rather than returning it to it's cradle, I like to use it as long as I can before charging it again). Sometimes I forget to power it off.
It 'might' be that powering it off and then back on in the morning is what causes it to get out of sync with the settings, and restarting the app fixes it.
At least I know I'm not crazy ![]()

I never turn off the mouse, it is always on until it needs charging. The software guys at Logitech need to get on the stick on this one and fix this issue. I could get them many sales if it were not for this. How could you recommend someone a product that does not support current CAD programs such as CAM350.

6.3 didn't seem to fix my having to stop and restart setpoint every morning. It still seems to lose track of it's scroll speed and the 2 custom buttons I mapped every morning. Stop and restart it, and it's fine. Would be nice if I didn't have to stop and restart it every morning.

When do we get a 6.35 or 6.4 that fixes the problems the Windows Update on the 13th left us with? I.E. - keyboard and mouse no longer working; not seeing the dongle; uninstalling and reinstalling drivers doesn't work.
And yes, I tried that other dumb link that someone keeps posting in the other threads, and it says I don't need it.
No other changes happened on my system. Everything working fine. MS update. Logitech broken.
Do you guys call them and say "what the heck did you do?", or do you call them and say "you broke us again, what do we have to do to fix our drivers? and oh by the way, how about giving us a week or two to test your stuff 'with' our stuff so we can update our drivers berfore you go live with your stuff?"
