Keyboards and Keyboard/Mice Combo Sets

is it normal for this upgrade to run itself twice in a row or is that a glitch..it's happened to em twice now..?

I recently moved my MK300 mouse and keyboard to a new PC. After installing SetPoint, the keyboard fails to respond, except for the grey keys at the top. If I Exit SetPoint, my keyboard works fully.

I have already tried the  ctrl+alt+F12 trick, and while it is able to secure of unsecure the connection, it does not fix the issue.

I just had a recent issue with some drivers on my computer, so I uninstalled a bunch of stuff. One of those items uninstalled was setpoint. When I reinstalled it, i no longer can set my special keyboard and mouse keys to do anything. When I open the mouse and keyboard settings for setpoint all i have is 'Tools' Please help, I at least 'need' the special keys for my mouse.

What is with this company??

Zillions of issues and complaints and hardly any replys save a retired Logitech guy (moderator) who can be bothered to assist. I think maybe I purchased the wrong brand. It seems like software released without fully testing and then very poor support.......

those links should be a sticky post at the very front of the forum.

setpoint 4.8 is the only decent version of this software....logitech made a huge mistake by combining the scroll software with the set point.  also, for some unexplained reason, the application switcher does not work on multiple monitors in newer versions of setpoint....but it works perfectly fine in 4.8.

4.8 is the way to go, and its WAY to hard to find a link for it on logitech's website.
